Frank also has learned advanced techniques to surgically repair elongated soft palates in brachycephalic breeds. Frank has acquired his advanced medical and surgical skills through the completion of continuing education courses in rhinoscopy, cystoscopy, laparoscopic exploratory surgery, endoscopy, colonoscopy, transcervical insemination, transurethral collagen implantation and laparoscopic-assisted gastropexy (a life-saving procedure to prevent gastric torsion). Frank is a general practitioner, he has special interests in dermatology, gasteroenterology, urology, cardiology and has been performing minimally invasive surgery for several years.

Frank is a member of the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and the Baltimore County Kennel Club. Today, the Hunt Valley Animal Hospital is a modern, state of the art animal hospital catering to the needs of our prized family pets. He built and started Hunt Valley Animal Hospital in 1984. Frank received his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Maryland and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Gregorio Araneta University, Philippines, in 1979.
